Clasped weft is a clever technique that enables the weaver to maintain two separate colors in a weft pick without using tapestry techniques. It can be used in a defined and planned manner or free-form as you weave. Imagine having that same freedom of color change in your warp!! We’ll do both in this class, warping our rigid heddle looms in the morning and weaving in the afternoon, sampling several different clasped weft ideas.

Madden Dining Hall

Note: All classrooms are on the Dixon May Fairgrounds, 655 S 1st St, Dixon, CA, and students will get free admission on the day of their workshop(s).
