Join us at the Dixon May Fairgrounds in Dixon, California for our 40th annual celebration of all things sheep, lamb, and wool.
Saturday, 9AM-5:30PM  | Sunday: 9AM-4PM

Sheep and Wool Competitions

Witness the best in wool and fleece as competitors showcase their finest products. Competitions include fleece judging, sheep shearing, and more.

Level up your fiber arts skills in one of our workshops! Pre-registration is required.

Explore a variety of indoor and outdoor vendors offering a wide selection of yarn, fiber, and supplies for yarn crafts including knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, felting, and needlework.  You’ll also find notions, bags, ceramics, tools, and yarn-related goodies!

Wooly Adventures hosts sheep-themed crafts and beginning fiber arts projects for the young and the young at heart.

Watch sheep shearing and sheep dog demonstrations on the hour, every hour throughout the weekend.

History & Stats

Lambtown Festival has grown to become California’s premier sheep and wool event, attracting thousands of visitors annually. Our festival started in 1985, and we have been dedicated to celebrating and educating about sheep and wool ever since.

Tickets & Registration

Click below to order your tickets for Lambtown Festival. You will receive a confirmation email, which will serve as your admission ticket on festival weekend. Do not delete that email! To gain entrance to the festival, you will be required to scan either the email on your phone or a printed version of the email. Lambtown Festival will take place rain or shine. Admission tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue on the day of the event.

Location and Directions

Lambtown Festival is held at The Dixon May Fairgrounds, 655 S. First St, Dixon, CA 95620. Conveniently located between Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area, the fairgrounds are just two miles off Interstate 80.
