Q: How early should I register?
A: It’s best to reserve your seat early, as our buses sometimes sell out.
Q: How can I ensure that I can ride with my friends?
A: Each bus has a unique name, so communicate with your group to be sure you all register for the same bus.
Q: Is festival admission included for bus riders?
A: Yes, and you will see a free Sunday admission ticket added to your shopping cart. Just after registration you will be emailed a link with a QR code to show at the gate, either on your phone or printed out.
Q: Can I park all day at the bus pickup location?
A: Yes, we chose each pickup location specifically to have free all-day parking on Sunday.
Q: How early should I arrive?
A: Each bus has a 15 minute loading window, and will leave on time even if not all riders are present. Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before the loading window for your bus.
Q: Do I need to check in when I arrive?
A: Please check in with the bus stop host, who will be wearing a bright green Lambtown Festival volunteer t-shirt.
Q: When do I get my goodie bag?
A: The goodie bags are generally handed out after everyone has boarded the bus at the second pickup location. You’ll want to open it right away since some vendors include coupons or other incentives for visiting their booths.
Q: Should I bring a lunch or can I buy food there? How about coffee?
A: Food trucks will be onsite and we expect to have a coffee vendor. Sinks and filtered water refill stations are available.
Q: How should I get in touch about accessibility needs?
A: The bus can kneel to make stepping up easier, the first few rows will be reserved for those with limited mobility, and there is storage space below for walkers and wheelchairs. If additional space or a wheelchair lift is needed, please contact us in advance so we are able to provide notice to the bus operators. General information about fairgrounds accessibility is available here. If you have any additional accessibility needs, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.
Q: Are bus riders able to take a workshop?
A: We have a few short-session workshops from 10:45am-12pm specifically so that bus riders can join in, and also have time to enjoy the rest of the festival. You can also consider an afternoon workshop, but will need to leave early to make it onto the bus.
Q: What if I need to cancel my bus reservation?
A: Admission tickets – including the Wool on Wheels busses – are transferable but not refundable. Lambtown Festival will be held rain or shine.
Q: If I do a lot of shopping with vendors or at the wool sale, will there be room for everything?
A: The buses have plenty of storage below so even if every seat is full there’s room to take your new treasures home. Consider bringing zippered shopping bags so nothing falls out in transit, and labels for bags of fleece so you can easily find your items at the end when you disembark.
