New Vendor Application

Lambtown Festival is a juried event. Applying and paying the non-refundable $25 application fee does not guarantee acceptance. You will get an automatic confirmation email with all of your form responses. We will start sending out new vendor acceptances in May, and we sometimes have last minute openings. We review applications in batches, so it may be a few weeks before you receive a response. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]. Upcoming Festival Dates: October 3-4, 2026; October 2-3, 2027; October 7-8, 2028.

Lambtown Festival receives more applications for yarn vendors than any other type – if you are waitlisted, it’s not because we don’t like your products or wouldn’t love to have you! We want everyone to have a successful show and that means balancing the number of vendors and making sure each of our market spaces have a variety of different products.
Have you ever been to Lambtown Festival as an attendee?(Required)

Format MUST BE SQUARE, 1:1 aspect ratio. If your logo is rectangular, you will need to add whitespace around it to make it square. Please make sure you use a high quality source so the image isn’t pixelated. We will add these to our website and they will be part of a 4-vendor square grid on instagram. A logo that includes your company name is preferred because it provides better context on instagram.
Agreement to promote Lambtown Festival(Required)
I agree to share that I will be attending Lambtown Festival with my customers and audience, whether it be by telling folks in person, handing out postcards, posting on social media, writing in my email newsletter, or all of the above. All of us together talking about Lambtown Festival make a much bigger impression than any one of us alone! We’re working hard to make it a must-go-to festival.
If accepted, would you like us to send you Lambtown Festival postcards to hand out, and/or a flyer to post at your location?
(These will be mailed to the address you entered above.)
Please tell us what you’d like to demonstrate, if you are interested in doing so. Demos are 15-20 minutes each on Sat & Sun during festival hours, in the Outdoor space, and are free to attendees. This is a great informal way to share your knowledge and get folks excited about your products. It should be educational to attendees in some way (showing a skill, demo’ing a quick technique, teaching something about sheep), not just product information.
Please tell us what you might provide for our bus riders. We charter a bus that goes from San Francisco to Dixon with a stop in Oakland, on Sunday, and each rider received a goodie bag with items provided by our vendors. Goodies are a little extra incentive to encourage folks to reduce carbon emissions, and it gets your merch in the hands of very enthusiastic festival-goers for an hour or so just before they arrive. It’s a great way to make an impression and ensure that they visit your booth! We ask for a minimum of 25 small items with a minimum retail value of $4, with a max of 50 (a full bus, which we had the past two years). Submissions should be related to what you sell (ex: not just a sticker with your logo), and more submission guidelines and opportunities to contribute will be made available in the upcoming months. Find the form to sign up for that at https://www.lambtown.org/bus-goodie-bag-sign-up-form/ and linked from the Vendor Applications page.
Please tell us if you’re interested in creating official Lambtown Festival branded merchandise to sell in your booth. We charge a flat $25 to use Ewenice (our cute sheep logo), and find that customers really like commemorative items! You can of course create specialty items for the show without our logo (ex: a limited edition yarn color), but this adds a little extra specialness! The fee is waived for anyone who contributes to the Bus Goody Bag above. We we will also highlight all branded items in a newsletter just before the festival. Note: we reserve the right to decline any ideas that are too similar to our own festival merchandise.
Lambtown Festival is a celebration in which shepherds, cooks, and fiber artists educate the general public about wearing wool and eating lamb. The Festival is not a place for behavior that is inappropriate, off-topic, disruptive, or abusive. The Festival defines inappropriate behavior as that which undermines the spirit of the Festival, including any form of verbal or physical abuse, the use of derogatory or discriminatory language, gestures or actions, any form of harassment, racism, sexism, or any other targeted comments which may violate any local, state or federal laws or cause personal offense to another Lambtown Festival participant before or during the event, whether in-person, through social media channels, or any other method of communication. Animal abuse will likewise not be tolerated. Lambtown Festival reserves the right to take appropriate actions including, but not limited to, removing any person who engages in these behaviors from Lambtown Festival.
General Liability Insurance(Required)
We require all vendors to carry general liability insurance for this event. You can provide proof of insurance yourself, or we have arranged for low-cost event insurance through ACT Insurance. Through their portal, you can purchase insurance for our festival for $49, for specific months for $25 (minimum two months), or a full year for $250. In the past, we were able to obtain vendor liability coverage from the California Fair Services Authority, but they are no longer issuing that coverage. Unfortunately, we have found group rates to be prohibitively high. Our solution is to let those of you with your own liability insurance add the festival and fairgrounds as an additional insured – which is free on most policies – or to purchase event coverage from ACT at relatively low rates. ACT is also available on a monthly basis, so there may be some cost savings for those of you with a busy fall schedule of shows. If you have your own policy and are sending Certificates of Insurance directly, please make sure they cover the following: 1) Dixon Lambtown USA Association 2) That the State of California, the California Fair Services Authority, the District Agricultural Association, County Fair, the County in which the County Fair is located, Lessor/ Sublessor if fair site is leased/subleased, Citrus Fruit Fair, California Exposition and State Fair, or Entities (public or non-profit) operating California designated agricultural fairs, their directors, officers, agents, servants, and employees are made additional insured, but only insofar as the operations under this contract are concerned. If you are purchasing through ACT, your COI will automatically be sent to us. ____________ Q: Why do we require liability coverage? A: Sometimes referred to as slip and fall coverage, this protects both you (the vendor), the festival, and the fairgrounds should someone become injured in a vendor’s booth. The average slip and fall settlement is between $10,000 and $50,000 and would put many companies (and our festival) out of business. Q: Does this cover product liability? A: No, it does not cover product liability.
