Welcome to Dixon's

34th Annual

Lambtown Festival

There will be some significant changes to this year’s Lambtown Festival. However, we are NOT cancelling Lambtown Festival 2020! With the unprecedented safety issues surrounding COVID-19  uncertainty of when large gatherings will resume, the Board of Directors feels it is neither plausible nor responsible to continue planning a live, in-person event at the Dixon May Fairgrounds in October. Rather, we will host Lambtown Festival virtually, as we continue to serve our mission to celebrate all things sheep, lamb, and wool through education and enjoyment for all. By making this decision now, we have the ability to showcase our many sponsors, vendors, instructors, producers, and local Dixon businesses over the coming months and especially on the third and fourth of October.

Mission Statement

The mission of Lambtown Festival is to celebrate all things sheep, lamb, and wool.

We aim to promote these noble  ruminants, from fleece to food, fiber to fabric, and farm to festival, while providing education and enjoyment for all.
