Spinning for Speed with Stephenie Gaustad

Time: Saturday, October 1st 9a.m.-4p.m.

Location: Dixon May Fairgrounds in Dixon, CA

Workshop Description: We all have the same number of hours in our work day, yet there are choices we make that can result in more yarn at the end of that day. We will discuss fibers, choice and preparation, wheel efficiency, adjustment and drafting styles, then put those choices to work during the class.

Experience Level: Comfortable with spinning, looking to expand skills

Students Should Bring: A functional spinning wheel and oil/lubricant, or a spindle with which you are comfortable

Instructor will supply: Handouts, all spinning fibers

Materials Fee: $10 included in workshop price

Workshop Pricing: This year’s workshop pricing is a flat rate for half-day or full-day workshops, with up to two low-income spaces per class*.

*To get the low-income student pricing of 25% off workshop cost (not including materials fee), use the code "305L" in the shopping cart. Please note: We will not disclose which students received low-inome pricing and all students will be treated equally by Lambtown Festival and our instructors.
