Lambtown Festival is excited to once again offer an in-person Sheep to Shawl Competition as part of this year’s festivities. Teams of 8 people will work together to prepare fiber, spin and ply yarn, and weave a shawl in a total of 4 hours on Sunday October 2nd. Each team will create an educational display, and one team member will be the Educational Liaison and will interact, communicate, demonstrate, and dispense information to the public.

Judging will occur directly after the competition ends and the winning shawl will go head-to-head with the Virtual Division winner for a Grand Champion Blue Ribbon!

Registration is open now through September 1st. Registration fee includes festival admission for all team members on October 2nd. Teams must also fill out a registration form.

You will receive a copy of the rules as a PDF upon completion of your registration, and they are also available on the main Sheep to Shawl page.
