Weaving is an ancient art that is easy to learn yet has endless possibilities. We will use a simple frame loom to make an artistic wall hanging while exploring plain weave as well as rya fringe, soumak, and clasped weft weaving techniques. All materials are provided and you will take home the tools to continue weaving on your own.

Experience Level: Beginner
Students Will Learn: Plain weave as well as rya fringe, soumak, and clasped weft weaving techniques, plus tips on finishing and blocking.
Students Will Take Home: A woven piece in progress with enough yarn to finish, plus a loom and tools to continue weaving at home.
