This intensive course is an in-depth look at wet felting for beginners. Students in this workshop will use merino wool, and an assortment of other fibers to create a roughly 8" tall pumpkin, complete with a stem and lid. Additional embellishment fibers will include wool nepps, bombyx silk, dyed cheesecloth, mawata silk hankies, firestar, and yarn. Topics covered will include how to incorporate the varied fibers to create the best texture and how to use a resist to make a sculptural piece.
