Paint, stamp, and stencil with mordant pastes on fabric in this fun half-day, make-and-take class. Extend your natural dye knowledge and color range by working with alum and iron pastes on fabric that we will dye in class. This medium lends itself to bold graphic designs. Take home a set of four cotton napkins with your unique designs.

Materials Fee Includes: Four hemmed cotton naplins, use of dye pots, class handouts and use of dye pots and equipment.
Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced
Students Will Learn: How to make and work safely with mordant pastes.
Students Will Take Home: Four cotton napkins and class handout.
Students Should Bring: An apron or clothes that can get dirty; dishwashing-type gloves (nitrile is okay, too), sun hat/sunscreen.
