There is an ancient textile structure that consists of a single yarn, laid onto a frame and worked by hand. Manipulation is simple and the task moves quickly as a single pass adds a row to both the top and bottom as the fabric is worked to the center. The fabric is supple, elastic. It can be like a dense woven or open, airy like lace. It is sprang. This presentation is a hands on introduction. Join us and experience a fabric that goes “sproing”!
