Statement on Diversity

Lambtown Festival’s Mission Statement ends with the words, “for all.” This key phrase underscores the belief that the Festival is enhanced when it is a gathering of people from a diverse range of human differences, including, but not limited to: race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, socioeconomic class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, and political beliefs.

The Festival seeks to create an environment in which a diverse people can celebrate, thrive and succeed, feel they are valued, and know their presence is wanted. We encourage all attendees, participants at our events, and vendors to work to understand each other and move beyond simple tolerance to embracing and celebrating the rich dimensions of diversity.

The Festival has a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination and bullying. We will not tolerate racism, hate speech, discrimination, bullying, exclusion, disrespect, prejudice, harassment, or abuse of any kind. As such, the Festival reserves the right to take appropriate actions including, but not limited to, removing any person who engages in these behaviors from Lambtown Festival.
